All of the sudden a few days later, I check my account online and found various transactions that I did not make at the Rio. This was the only time during my stay that I used my card at the hotel. Staff was nice, free water while waiting in line, good attitudes, etc. I paid the fees due and had an overall good check in experience otherwise.

Again, no big deal it’s policies, I get it. I eventually found it in the fine print, but some transparency would have been nice. However the part Orbitz failed to mention on the “due at property” was the $50 per night deposit.

But here’s the reality… upon check in, they asked for the full amount even tho I prepaid and only had to pay the resort fees. I really wanted to share my positive experience here at the rio.
